VIVID COLOURS AND METALIC SURFACES
Colours that we come across from fashion to architecture in our daily life most change year by year. Pastel hues that remained dominant for some time are now replaced by vivid colours and metallic surfaces.
Leatrice Eiseman, CEO of Pantone, who is recognised and respected for its expertise and domination about colours all over the world, disclosed the colours that will lead in 2018 in the International Home and Housewares Show which was carried out in Chicago. Eiseman, who said that now a trend has begun towards more attractive and intense colours, and further went on to say that the pastel hues would remain popular.
Eiseman, metalik renklerin ve parlak yüzeylerin ön plana geçişini ise bu renklerin artık klasikleşmesine ve insan gözünün parıldayan, sedefli veya şeffaf yüzeylere olan zaafına bağlıyor.
Eiseman credits the rise of metallic colours and vivid surfaces to the fact that they grew too classical and to the weakness of the human eye to glittering, mother of pearl or transparent surfaces.
